Hi… You have found your way to the Homepage of ‘Our Dovecot‘ here in Liverpool/UK. Whether you were born in Dovecot, and have lived here all your life, or you have moved away (we have members from all around the world), this is a site to share all memories of the Dovecot Estate and boundaries.

Most of our ‘interactive’ stuff, is via our Facebook Site, but we realise, not all are registered on the Facebook platform, so hopefully this website will give you a taster and an insight into our Fb site, where we share memories, find lost friends from our childhood and school days, post photos… laugh… and occasionally cry, reminiscing people and places now gone.

I hope you will take time to view the fantastic video below, produced by The Church of the Holy Spirit, situated on the corner of  East Prescot Road and Dovecot Avenue, and so reminiscent of activities and life in the centre of the estate over the years. The video shows Dovecot from when the first families moved in… in 1933, to memories of more recent times
