The show…

It was Sunday, 19th August, when we made our way down to the city… This was to be my Birthday Pressie for 18 months ago…. off our Cath. Cath had heard that Cirque du Soleil, where due to come to the city, at the Echo Arena, but not for quite some time… so when the tickets became available.. Cath booked for me, Ann & Cath…

Originally, we had talked of seeing the show, then Ann & I, spending the night at one of the many hotels, which have sprung up recently in the city. However, Cath ended up getting Matinee tickets, for 13:00.pm. so we ended up going for a Chinese meal afterwards, rather than the hotel lol. Below are just some of the images of the day…

The show was Fantastic… Ann and I had watched a live Cirque du Soleil show in Liverpool, some 30+ years ago at the Liverpool Empire, but today’s was truly magnificent. the colours were so vivid… I loved it !!!

Then we walked up to the car park where Cath’s car was, and went for a pint in the pub across the way, before heading to our Favourite Chinese Restaurant, on the river, and had a banquet for 3…. which took us a good 3 hours lol…
