My-ir Talks

One good thing which the ‘pandemic’ highlighted, is the use of the… ZOOM platform, for effective meetings… and so for my own presentations. this option is now availble, for home and abroad… free… this medium is usually set-up by individual Clubs/Societies… simply contact me for availability…

Below is a black&white version, of one of the full-colour animations from my Infrared Presentation, showing light paths through the lens/filters and onto the sensor array… all fully explained to your membership…

I am a long-time member of the South Liverpool Photographic Society (SLPS), and as such, I recognise the importance of Clubs/Societies, to educate and open their membership to new technologies, genres and techniques, plus informative talks and presentations on a variety of specific photographic subjects.

With this in mind, I have for some time now, presented an Infrared ‘talk’ to local Clubs/Societies. You can also find me, as a registered lecturer with the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU).

Being, a Senior Lecturer in a Vocational College for 20 years, has honed my presentation skills for all who attend. I use a Presentation Software Programme, in a special way, which is seldom seen… with complex animation sequences, showing light paths, filters and camera operations etc, to give a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject, for all attendees.
