Teacher Ed class of 2009

Today, those of us who regarded Kenny H. as a colleague and friend, said our final goodbyes to an esteemed plumber and and teaching mate from Warrington Collegiate.

Kenny was one of four Plumbing tutors to graduate from Warrington in 2009, the others being Joe T. Dave W. & Mark H.

Kenny’s micro teach, is still talked about and reminisced, in the pub on such occasions where we meet and discuss old times… The day he wandered into college to give his talk… on his shotguns, with bother barrels under each arm…lol.

Kenny was married to Andrea, and as we all waited for the hearse to arrive, it was obvious that there would be standing room only at the Crematorium in Walton Gardens / Warrington. The service was due at 14.20.

It was great to see scrolling images of Kenny, on a big screen, with his favourite music, through his early years, and into his married life and beyond.

I for one opened a nice bottle and toasted his life, this evening, as I’m sure others did and I’m sure Kenny’s name will come up often, when we all meet up again, in the near future… For it is through our memories and reminiscences that our friends ‘live’ on….
