Penmon Point

Penmon Point looking to Puffin Island

Last week, Ann and I went over to the Isle of Anglesey, as it was our wedding aniversary (33 years). We stayed at one of our favourite hotels… ‘The Boathouse Hotel‘, up on Holy Island in Holyhead (where the ships sail to Ireland).

On one of our days out, we went over to Penmon Point on the East coast of Anglesey, just passed Beaumaris… As we arrived at the Point, you have to pay a £3 entrance fee but that lets you onto the Point, and also the church and Dovecote…

Custom and Coastguard Houses

The Point is a magnificent place especially if the weather is good… However, I went there because, of the cloud structure on the day… with the promise of a storm coming in, so I knew the cloud structure would change into what I wanted…

The Lighthouse

As I expected… a storm did in fact roll in. So with Ann holding the umbrella (cant get my camera wet…lol) I rattled off the shots I wanted… such a good day….
