Storm on the Mersey


Hale Marsh

It only happens a few times per year… A storm rolls in from the South-west, crossing the county of Cheshire, and then progressing over the River Mersey, towards Liverpool. I’m looking to a late afternoon shot, so that when the storm passes by, the sun is low in the sky, and shines under the storm clouds giving some great light, if everything slips into place… Its times like this, I grab my cameras, tripod and brolly, and head down to the ‘Hale Marshes’ to get the shots I’m after…
