Although we (Ann & I), have lived in Liverpool all our lives and have passed St. Lukes church literally 100’s of times, we have never ventured in. The gardens are open to the general public at all times, but a £1 donation is suggested for entry into the church itself.

St. Lukes, was bombed in the the May Blitz of German bombers in 1941 (W.W.2), which raised Liverpool to the ground. The windows and roof of the church were blown out, and after the war was over, the church was left un-repaired as a war monument.
